Empire Limited Lifetime Warranty
Every EMPIRE® hand tool is warranted by the manufacturer to the original purchaser for the reasonable lifetime of the tool solely to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. Subject to certain exceptions, EMPIRE® will repair or replace any hand tool which, after examination, is determined by EMPIRE® to be defective in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to damage that EMPIRE® determines to be from misuse, inappropriate use, alterations/modifications, failure to follow the instruction manual, abuse, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, consumable items, fair wear and tear of component parts or accidents. A copy of the proof of purchase must be included with the returned product in order to make a claim. The returned product shall be safely packed without any dangerous contents such as petrol, marked with sender’s address and accompanied by a short description of the defect. Please note that in some countries delivery charges or postage will need to be paid by sender to return a faulty product to us, to the extent required by local law. please consult us or our service center before sending back the defective product. When we receive a returned product, we will carry out reasonable inspection and testing procedures to determine whether a valid warranty claim exists and our determination is final. If we determine that the fault/defect falls within the lifetime warranty, a repaired or replacement tool will be provided free of charge.
Empire One Year Warranty
The warranty period is 12 months and commences on the date when the product was purchased. This date has to be documented by an invoice or other proof of purchase. This manufacturer warranty covers all defects of the product during the warranty period due to defaults in workmanship or material at the purchase date. The warranty is limited to repair and/or replacement and does not include any other obligations including but not limited to incidental or consequential damages. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. The warranty is not valid if the product has been misused, used contrary to the instruction manual,. This warranty does not apply to any damage to the product that is the result of improper maintenance, any product that has been altered or modified, any damage caused by external influences (chemical, physical, shocks) or foreign substances, normal wear and tear. To get benefit of the warranty , simply return it to the place of purchase, along with your proof of purchase.
